Two National Dessert Chains Unite for New Stores in Memphis
March 08th 2016Two dessert chains with a global presence will combine under one roof in Memphis. A co-branded concept between Great American Cookies and Marble Slab Creamery is headed to the Bluff City thanks to a new franchisee. Carl Greenway purchased franchise rights for West Tennessee and North Mississippi, and now he plans to open two to three of these combo locations in the next 18 months. "I think it is a fantastic thing," Greenway said. "The quality of the product is really good, and it is going to be a fun place to work, a place where people can come and have a good time."
